Weeds in your Lawn
Growing a real grass lawn without weeds is not difficult - Hey we are not trying to grow orchids - ITS GRASS.
There are a few reasons why you have a weed infested lawn......
1) From the beginning, if you buy a lorry load of topsoil, you will be buying weed seeds. (We have products that kill weeds before they appear)
2) If you let weeds proliferate and flower, then you are loosing the battle. Don't let them flower or you will quickly have second generation weeds. (We have selective weed killers for all types of lawns and weeds)
3) You are probably not watering your lawn correctly. Remember one soaking is better than frequent showers.
4) As well as the wrong watering technique, you probably have poor soil. (We have products that will improve your soil a a few weeks)
5) Mowing at the wrong height. Cutting the lawn too low will allow weeds to proliferate. Set your cutting higher and the grass will choke out the weeds.
6) If you want a low smooth lawn, choose the right grass for your
desired mowing height. Most people cut
their lawns too low for the type of grass.
